We chose MBD Construction to submit an estimate on our basement renovation project because of the great reviews they had gotten. We were also impressed with the attractive website which showcases their previous projects showing excellent work and attention to detail.
The estimate we received was a professional presentation and was detailed and made it easier to visualize our finished project. Matt also gave us a start date and timeline for our project. After we hired him and his team, work commenced right on schedule and Matt was excellent at keeping us apprised of what was happening every step of the way. Matt is a hard worker and picks employees with the same work ethics and quality standards. They were all very friendly and professional, it was a pleasure having them around.
We are extremely happy with the finished project and glad that we picked MBD Construction.

Excellent workmanship by the owner Matt of MBD Construction and his employees. Matt gave me plenty of time to decide on flooring choices and the color of paint for my basement renovation in 2018. He was also very good at creating a timeline for the completion of the project and stuck to it. It was very helpful for me to have a firm schedule as it helped with my decision making for the project.

Matt and his crew treated my renovation project as if it was being done for their own homes. I was very impressed with Matt's attention to fine details such as the positioning of doorways for easier access, lots of electrical outlets and proper lighting throughout. I really like that Matt took the extra time to paint the downstairs' banister with the same colors that are part of the new basement flooring. It is a very interesting custom detail! We are having MBD Construction back in 2019 for a bathroom renovation. Thanks Matt and employees again, for your professionalism and knowledge regarding construction and home renovations.

I called Matthew for a plumbing emergency, as he had recently come to my rental property for an estimate for another job. He came out within a couple of hours, after I called him, diagnosed the issue, and was then able to fix the problem;.....all in the same day! I definitely would encourage anyone to give him a try! He knows his stuff!

Matt is the only contractor I will call or refer to friends. He is professional, knowledgeable, and meticulous. Just this month he finished a 6 week reno on my kitchen, bathroom and basement which included plumbing, electrical, carpentry, tiling, installing hardwood floors, crown molding and painting.
