The Tilted Wing restaurant is closed due to Covid19 ...otherwise a nice facility

This uncontrolled aerodrome rocks. Awesome cafe with food. If you fly out of Kitchener it's easy flight. No NAVAIDS here(ILS/LOC/DME) Easy flight under VRF under weather. However on way back to CYKF had to request Special VFR clearance due to conditions weather-wise. This Hanover Strip is up with Ontario's best!

Great airport and friendly staff! Runways and taxiways are well maintained during summer and winter. Definitely should check this airport out!
