Kincardine Scottish Festival & Highland Games

Went on Sunday and had a great time. Good music,food and people.

Amazing, only word to describe this event. It is the best Highland Games I have been to in both the MWPBA and Canadian circuits.

Good fun, food and entertainment. I would suggest to either let people know ahead of time to bring chairs or to have chairs for rent there, as seating wasn't the best.

It was awesome. As a new Kincardine resident and volunteer I am thankful to be a tiny part of it all!!!

If you've never been to the Kincardine 'Gathering of the Bands' which takes place at the end of August, then I'd highly recommend you do go! The music is incredible. The park setting (Victoria Park) where the band-shell is, is the focal point of the day with many bands from all over Ontario performing there. Bring a lawn chair, sit and relax and enjoy the all day, all you can eat hot dog and corn cobs as well as the park being licenced for the day as well. Then after the 'show' is over, there is a massed band parade down the main street of Kincardine. Unlike any other parade, in this parade, the people watching join the march down the street following the pipes and drums! Incredible! Go, enjoy, you'll love it!
