MacGregor Point Provincial Park

The park is lovely, even in the off-season. The hiking trails are well maintained and clearly marked. We sighted quite a lot of small wildlife, but no larger animals.
We booked a yurt, which was spacious for 2 but would have been claustrophobic for the full occupancy of six. The barbecue at our site was not in good repair, and not all of the burners were working. The heater in the yurt also made a loud knocking that disturbed my sleep.

The park is well maintained. Restrooms super clean all the time.

We did some winter-camping in a tent in March.
Between -7 and +4. Most of the time very windy.
We didn't see the active bear but a whitetail deer and a lot of geese. We hiked 15 km in different areas of the park.

The Provincial Park is called after the MacGregor Point and that area is private land (in the middle of the Park). So, no MacGregor Point in the MacGregor Point Provincial Park - so, what's the point of the name then? 😂

I loved this park. Infrastructure is great. The park has a great beach, Lot of camp sites and tonnes of hiking trails. I think there is a active bear in the park as we saw some big claws. Overall it was fun.

There's not much to do there.
