Grundmann James Dr

I've been patient with this young fella since he started his practice, with his wife in Wiarton. I've witnessed his growth for many years. He's an exceptional Ophthalmologist, and a very good friend now. In my past experiences with the medical profession, this Dr. can be trusted. He's always learning and giving his patients the best possible care that we deserve. His Secretary is top drawer as well. She has a great sense of humor, always reminds of upcoming appointments, and is accommodating when problems arise.
You can't go wrong choosing this office for your eye care needs.

I am not big on reviews, but I am compelled to post this one with regards to Dr. Grundmann. As a new patient I can say that from end to end this was a very thorough, professional yet personal experience. It reminded me of my Doctor's appointments from the not so distant past, when, to me, they didn't seem as rushed and assembly line-like. Doctor's wanted to know YOUR thoughts and goals regarding your own condition and proceeded towards reaching those with the evidence obtained through proper testing. After all, it is our body so our own views do matter. Maybe sometimes we can't always get to where we want to be health wise, but if your Doctor is in tune with your realistic goals they can do their best to help get you (at the very least) close to them. Doctor Grundmann was straight up with me regarding my tests, my eye health, vision and explained various options I have to help reach my eyesight goals. Not sure one could ask for anything more...

I don‘t normally review health care professionals, because I am not qualified to review their medical expertise. But I saw a one star review that was so far removed from my experience with Dr. Grundmann that I couldn‘t let that stand on its own. Dr. Grundmann is thorough, professional, and responsive to all patient inquiries. For one of my family members, he diagnosed a problem caused by underlying health issues that we would never have discovered otherwise. He immediately liaised with our family doctor to ensure we got the appropriate follow-up care. I couldn’t recommend him more highly, and in fact have done so locally many times over. All of those new patients were as thrilled with his care as I was.
