Ontario Provincial Police - Grey Bruce (Wiarton)

I wish to give a thanks to the two OPP officers that attended the dive accident today at Cedar Point.

The younger officer ( sorry , i did not write his name down ) This was a very stressful incident for myself, i truly appreciate the compassion and concern of your officer )..questions and details were asked in a systematic manner .... i felt very comfortable with this young man ,,, hope we did not stress him out too much.

I have been a diver since 1994 ... I have completed over 2500 dives without incident and as a formere instructor for 18 years.

professional, polite, respectful: the one who stopped me was the nicest officer (constable) I've ever met

I have had several occasions to interact with the police in Wiarton and I have to say they have been nothing but the best you could ask for. I was once stopped at a drunk and drug stop in Colpoys Bay with my 86 year old mother in the car and didn't even get my wallet out. Even had a real nice conversation. I have seen them on the street and the same thing. I walked up to 2 of them and asked if they had caught any criminals that day and they (playfully) grabbed my arm and
said " just now". All in good fun. Jill at the front desk is a hoot too.
