Kind and generous people, welcoming to all.
Outstanding resources, staff and volunteers very knowledgeable on any social service matters.
Love and blessings showered on all
***WORSHIP ON SUNDAYS AT 10.30 IN FAMILY SEATED STYLE ..... willing listeners and PRAYER ready.
Always a blessing and a godsend when having anything to do w Sally Ann and all the wonderful staff. Can't imagine my life w o them. Love you guys god bless
I know it must be hurting Captain Millar during these trying times. She is an absolute blessing to our community. Even though she cannot hug or handshake right now, you can still feel the warmth of her from hundreds of feet away! All of the volunteers at the Salvation Army, deserve credit!
On one note though, they should hire a manager from the local population.
One that knows the people and that the people know and trust.
Maybe one who's family has contributed a lot to the community and one who continues to contribute via shopping and welfare checks on people who have little or no other resources.
Maybe someone who lives here and actually cares!
If someone has to move here from another location, it's a job.
If some one who lives here and actually desires it, it's a vocation.
K.C is my vote!
No comment. Besides that comment....fine I gotta say it. There good on randomly messaging you with usually unwanted items. The need is hit or miss.
I've recieved lots of help from this organization but also dedicated hours of my time to pay it forward. Do not go here for housing! You will be given false hope.
They have a good meal here for seniors once a month along with a speaker. Food is excellent, along with dessert. All they ask is for a contribution for the meal. Staff is fantastic walking thru the crowd answering questions. They meal consists of meat, mashed potatoes, gravy, mixed frozen vegetables and a single dessert. When I have been there it has been roast beef and a turkey dinner at Christmas. Good solid, nutritious food which will carry you through the day.
