(April 2, 2020, 7:40 pm)My children participated in the Life Skills Equine Training for Homeschoolers Program at Gully's Learning Ranch. They enjoyed attending every week and were disappointed when their 8-week session was over. My eldest son wasn't sure he wanted to participate in the program, as he is not interested in horses, but ended up loving it and was inspired by them! Each class had a wonderful model of discussing what they would learn during the session, working with the horses and then reviewing what they learned, bringing it back to and reflecting on what was presented at the outset. Gully's also provided resources to use at home in order to follow up with the learning done in class. The owners are very kind, the property is well maintained and the program is excellent. I would highly recommend it!
