(December 31, 2017, 2:31 am)Ms. C. Davis - First I'm sorry you had to go through this when dealing with the loss of your Father. You should have had someone walk you through things.
I know from dealing with my F-I-L; S-I-L and; Father that the funeral home has to go with the current will. The funeral home has to follow unfortunately what is written in the will as this is a legal document. If there was another will which was dated after the one used, lawyers can over ride the one used to reflect the current will.
My dealings over the 3 family deaths I dealt with 3 different funeral homes, all the rules were the same.
I'm pretty sure if you applied to the Ontario Government, you should be able to get a copy of the death certificate.
