We've gone for brunch a number of times. Good coffee, fantastic omelletes, generous portions, excellent service. Home-cooked meals at a about going rate prices. Great small town atmosphere. I would not say "greasy spoon".

It's a greasy spoon. The food is good but not exemplary. It's the characters that work there that make it so great! The staff are witty and fun. It's the atmosphere where in orders are still occasionally yelled across the restaurant. Witty one-liners are hurled from the kitchen and nobody ever leaves hungry.
Just for reference....I'm a regular there.
