While I have been living in Wallaceburg which has been most of my life.
This park has been extremely busy
lots of soccer games, plenty of
baseball games. I can't forget tones of other families enjoying picnics and birthday parties.
Myself I like to just go ther to sit
and relax in the shade.
I like to watch the squirrel and birds playing while raising their families to.
If you get a chance to this year,
try to take some time,
to go enjoy yourself and a bit of nature.
Bring the kids plenty of thing for them
to play on .
If you Don't have children bring your favorite book and bottle of water.
When you have finished your visit to the park.
Remember to keep it clean,
by putting your trash in it's proper place.
A clean park it a happy park.
Have a wonderful day
and be like to one another,
a smile can go a long way. ????
Nice big park..good swingsets
This park was named after a captain and is located on Mary Street... Captain James Wyngard STEINHOFF, he was born in 1834 in St. Thomas, Ontario, the son of John Steinhoff and Mary Ann Ousterhout, and died in 1921 in Wallaceburg, Ontario. As well as being involved in many other occupations, such as lumbering, cook, teamster, mail carrier, sawyer, ship builder, ship's captain, he was also the first mayor of Wallaceburg. This park has some plat equipment and a ball diamond... beautiful place to sit and have a picnic on a warm summers day. The tennis courts are just across the street at the far side.
So much fun with the kids x3
Infield and outfield not level, amazing place, relaxing
