Waterway Camp

My son and I stayed at Waterway camp Thanksgiving wknd. I was very impressed. Very clean, comfortable cabin. It was great to come off the water and be able to get into a home away from home! Leslie and Joe are great, and do whatever it takes to make the stay very memorable. Nice boat ramp and dock. I will definitely be back! Even looking to book for our fishing group. Thank you very much for the great stay!

Nice people. The weather was good. And it wasn't so bad especially with the boat not running properly.

My family and I stayed at the Waterway Cottage in cabin #7 for the last week in August 2020. We had an amazing time. The sunsets are amazing! There is a river in the front of the cottages where you can fish, dock a boat, or easily launch your kayak or canoe into the water. They also have boats, kayaks, paddle boats, and canoes you can rent. We were able to kayak to Mitchell’s Bay, where there is a great place to swimming, picnic, and there is a playground and splash pad there too. It is only a 5 minute drive away from the resort, or there is a trail that you can bike or walk that connects the resort to the beach. A small variety store with an LCBO and beer store. There are some lovely restaurants in the town too.

Our cabin was super clean! The shower was nice and the hot water worked well. The cottages are air conditioned, the tv has a few kids channels and news channels for rainy times. There is an electric fireplace in the cabin, but we didn’t need to use ours. The cabins are equipped with the essentials you would need to comfortably live at a cottage, kitchen supplies, a dining table inside and outside, the living room couch has a pull out bed, our cabin had 2 rooms that each contained a bunk bed. Our cabin comfortably accommodated 3 adults and a preschooler. Each cabin has a fire pit. You can rent a bbq, buy firewood, and ice from the owners. We will definitely return next year for another family holiday.

Our cabin was really clean and nicely renovated. My father and I spent 3 nights, and enjoyed every minute of it. Joe, Lesile and their Daughter were very helpful during our stay. Would definitely recommend.

I wish I could give this place 10 stars, because they deserve it. The owners are amazing and so friendly. The community has a lot of regulars who are all friendly, helpful, and are always giving advice to have the best fishing experience. The cabins are so nice and clean, they are also renovating and fixing up the place and the effort shows, they are so nice and cozy.
We are a small family of 4 (kids are 6 and 2) and they were fishing all day, or riding in the kayak/paddle boats (which are also free to use) or running around the cabin and enjoying nature.
We rented a pontoon and the price was amazing for an all day rental. The water was so nice and the fish are very active.
Prices for worms are cheap and the worms are huge and go a long way.
If you are looking for a place to bring your family and make memories, YOU FOUND IT.
They deserve the buisness and you won't regret it :)
