Best day to go is August 15 for cekebration. Other times are giid too. Bring own lunch if staying the day or drive into Chatham for a quick lunch.

Beautiful and historic church. Magnificent and peaceful diocesan shrine. It is one of my favourite places to pray, both in the church and on the shrine grounds. I recommend this sacred space to anyone who is in need of some spiritual insight, healing, or just simply, peace and quiet.
