We had a lovely morning at Rondeau park. We hiked on one of the trails, and a short walk on the beach. The fall colour is starting and the scenery was beautiful.
This park is one of the better park's in southern Ontario. All rest rooms and shower very clean. Awesome job thanks for a great summer of camping.
Go here every summer. Great for camping and has the best beaches around. We miss the boardwalk that was ruined a few winters ago. It has never been replaced. Same with the look out tower. Please fix this!
Wonderful with spacious sites and great nature trails. You must bring a full arsenal of bug repellent and preferably a dining tent as you will experience a whole new level of mosquito attacks however.. Be prepared!
It was a fine park with a good history behind it but the camping here felt far more like a traditional camp ground than a provincial park. I would say that there was absolutely nothing wrong with it, but our neighbours on all sides of us were separated by a meter of grass, nothing more.
The facilities were clean and the campground was well cared for. The beach(es) were great, nice and easy to get to but not particularly sandy or beautiful.
I'm glad I took the time to visit the second oldest provincial park in Ontario, it's worth the trip but compared to nearby provincial parks it just falls a little short.
