Huge Portions, great food! Port Schnitzel as big as your head, served on a full size cutting board. The Schnitzel is so big that the mashed potatoes are hiding under it!!! This is our favorite "Special Occasion" Restaurant!

Absolutely awesome Local restaurant. A little tight seating but that really cannot be helped in the winter months. Steak board is presented with several different cuts and first come first served quantities because they only serve FRESH and LOCAL. Perfectly cooked Rib Eye Just melted in the mouth. Great staff with a great sense of humour! I would strongly recommend if your're passing through Grand Valley. Well done!

My experience at the Grand River Chop House was quite mixed. I had a burger and fries, and the food was incredibly good, no doubt about that. The service was where my experience was not so great. Customers who arrived after me was served before me, and it seemed like there was a bit of a small town vibe going on, like I have to know management to get served in a reasonable time. And then as I was leaving the lady took forever to get me my receipt and let me pay. Food = 5/5, service 2/5.
