We absolutely love our Payton’s Legacy Pups.
We now have two! Our dogs are in excellent health and are incredibly smart and loving. The puppies are very well loved and are hand raised at home with care to all sorts of details. Debra and Rick truly go the extra mile and then some to care for the pups and give them opportunities to learn, play and socialize. These puppies are wonderful family members.
We adopted Penny from Payton's Legacy Boxer's first litter ( Bubbles and Camo's Pups)
Wow what a difference adopting a puppy from Deb & Rick ....they go above and beyond to make sure these pups are ready to conquer all. I do believe Deb and Rick find only the best homes for the pups. and make sure they are well cared for in every way. The training they do with the rules of 7 is amazing. Penny is willing to walk on any service whether it be pebbles, ceramic floors, grass, wood , sand , water etc and not feel at all scared about it. She did not startle easy at loud noises, cars, trucks, fireworks etc. and I thank them for this as well. We started training Penny with commands the moment she got home, starting with the basics and included our children in the training process. She now responds to each of our family members and even my 3 year old can walk her and have her recall when asked. She LOVES water more than any other dog I have ever met and does a great job doing laps in our pool . She is happiest after a long walk and can stretch out next you for a belly rub and a nap.
We knew boxer's came with a lot of energy and knew what to expect as Penny was our second boxer, If you are looking for a couch potato of a dog these pups are not the right fit. If you are looking for a loyal companion up for any challenge , trail walk, beach bud, fishing partner you have found your pup!
One extra thing I want to mention. I was asked if my pup was going to be crate trained when I said yes, Deb & Rick left a crate for the pups to all explore together in the play area and a couple days before we picked her up she was crated in the evening next to a sibling.... The first night we brought her home we placed her in the crate with her snuggle pup and she was out like light!
Thanks again guys. We will forever cherish our sweet girl :)
