“It's a beautiful park if you can get there when there's no people, but it has become a very crowded area. Last time I went it was just a sea of people in the trail. Could have been coincidence but considering the amount of cars it's probably the norm these days. There are lots of other places that you can go for trails and hiking in the area. Parking has also become expensive considering it used to be free. And again other trails in the area have free parking. It used to be a very secluded place when I was a child but I guess that was 20 years ago when it was quiet there. Nature wise it's beautiful and the cliff lookout is nice and has some beautiful lakes as well. It is dog friendly but they do have to stay on a leash, which I guess is due to the amount of people there. You'll see horses once in awhile and the bikers can be a bit annoying speeding around corners and almost crashing into you. But give mono cliffs a shot, you might get lucky during a quiet time.”
