Dr. Chandra and his team have been extremely kind and accommodating. They are very reasonably priced (lowest I've found!), and have been a huge help with our 1 year old lab. Keeping him calm and clean post surgery has not been an easy task, but Dr. Chandra has helped and rechecked our pup to ensure his hyper activity hasn't hindered his healing.

I want to say how grateful I and my family are for Dr. Chandra and his great team. He cared wonderfully for our beloved dog Mitzi and gave us an extra five months with her. Our new puppy Chico is now the recipient of his great knowledge and attention. Unfortunately many vets are more interested in making money but this cannot be said of Dr. Chandra. Thank you for coming to Shelburne. We are so lucky to have you.

We have been dealing with Dr. Chandra and staff since just after he opened. We needed a vet in the area for our dog who was not well, and thought we would give him a try, being close to us. I was very happy that Axle loved his new doctor and staff, and that they in return genuinely liked him too. Axle was diagnosed with diabetes, and we were reassured that it could easily be managed at home with special diet and insulin and we were given lessons how to give his injections. Axle loved his trips to his doctor. We would even get follow up phone calls to check in on him if we hadn't been in to pick up supplies, and every time we did go in, they would ask about him as well as our other cats by name! Unfortunately, he got really sick just over a year past his diagnosis, and the staff and Dr. Chandra stayed late for us to be able to bring Axle in to see what was going on. When we arrived it was evident that he would not be coming home with us. The care, compassion, empathy and understanding we received that night was appreciated. We were not rushed, we got to spend as much time as needed with him and they as well spent some time saying goodbye to him - they loved him as much as we did, as was evidenced by the tears in their eyes as well as ours. These people are amazing, and I consider them like family, as do my other pets. The cats all enjoy their trips, even if they are getting fluids, vaccines, or for some, spayed/neutered. We also have a cat with stage 4 kidney disease who is currently receiving excellent care and supports. I cannot speak highly enough of this clinic. If you are looking for a reasonably priced, compassionate clinic with staff who all genuinely love animals and their profession, then look no further - you want the Shelburne Animal Hospital.

Very knowledgeable staff and were extremely kind and caring. I was impressed by the level of detail given by Dr. Chandra throughout the treatment. This was the first time Leo underwent a surgery and he’s been doing great so far (two weeks since surgery). I was impressed by the follow up after the surgery especially since the prices were great. Definitely see myself going back here!!!
