I absolutely love this conservation area. There is a small trail for young children and for a quick hike and there are long trails which would take you approximately an hour or an hour and a half to hike. It is a dog friendly area, so you can bring your furry friends with you and let them explore. There are washrooms and picnic benches near the parking lot.
Beautiful forest, easy trails and access. Many people bring their dogs here, so there is little chance of spotting wildlife and there was dog poop onnthe trails from inconsiderate/irresponsible users.
Great spot for star gazing! Came here to watch the Perseid shower and we saw some really amazing shooting stars. Some that literally lit the sky. What's even great is how close this is to Scarborough (just about an hour drive).
