In the north area of Oshawa is this quaint little place.
It's fun to interact with almost all the animals. You can buy popcorn to feed the animals, except for the lemurs which they will give you raisins.
There are over 100 animal species ranging from regular petting zoo animals to exotics.
Admission is very cheap for a family and a family season pass is less than $100.
If you are out in the Durham area, check this place out. Fun for the whole family.
(December 9, 2018, 3:59 pm)A great place to visit furry friends. The pens a very spacious for a facility of this type and you can get quite close. It's showing a bit of ware with age but the animals seem well taken care of.
(October 17, 2018, 6:47 pm)For being a small zoo it will get the job of entertaining a child done. You could easily spend about 90 minutes here. It's clean and the animals look healthy. Staff are friendly. A little hidden gem.
(September 1, 2018, 4:44 pm)We absolutely love this zoo. We have had memberships for the last three seasons. Great for children of all ages. This is more of a large petting/feeding zoo than a zoo. It's a large farm and all the animals are native to Ontario unlike the Toronto zoo. The animals are very gentle, my one year old feeds all the animals the popcorn and they are very gentle. Since it is more of an open farm, the kids can run around without worry.
