Heber Down Conservation Area - parking lot

Love the beautiful wonders of this park there's all ways somthing to see if you look closely at your surroundings you will see the beauty it offers

Heber Downs is a great place for a walk in the woods.

Heber downs is a great place to take some friends or family for an afternoon walk in the forest. Not too far from the big city, but still secluded enough that you can't hear the hustle of traffic or the smell of industry.

You do have to pay for parking, about $5 for a 1.5 to 2 hour hike - but that is about as much as most people would want to spend.

Definitely try this place out if you live in the Durham Region

Great walking trails. I saw a fox and a beaver.

I love going here with the kids. If you're lucky you might see the beaver in the pond. The are lots of good trails for running or just to have a nice walk.
