(January 17, 2019, 4:50 am)When I need parts and I can't wait the average 2 weeks delivery time to buy it online. I always check the big 3 locally and quite often Carquest will usually have the best price on the part needed. And so long as you have your original receipt for a part that has a lifetime warranty then replacement is provided no extra cost. But be sure to do your homework and make sure any extra things like gaskets are included with the part they sell and or if it's included with the competitors price. I recently bought a water pump for $60 less than the competitors best price but the Carquest one didn't include the gasket or the thermostat that wad included in the competitors price so in the end it actually ended up costing me @ $50 more than if I had bought the competitors model as I had to have the shop that was doing the repair just get the gasket and new thermostat already included. My bad lesson learned. That's why so much detail to my review so you don't have to learn the hard way like I did .????
