The location is beautiful, the winery itself is great, the staff super friendly and sweet. The wine itself was not one of our favorites. We had a flight of red, they smelled absolutely fantastic but the taste didn't match the incredible aromas. Worth checking out for sure but we didn't not walk away with a bottle.
I must admit I was a bit nervous going to Muscedere this afternoon, after reading the recent negative reviews, but we had a fantastic experience and I would highly recommend it.
We went around 12:30PM , and did not have a reservation. Muscedere is not on the main road with a majority of the wineries, so it took us a little while to find it, but the property itself is beautiful.
We were greeted and seated promptly upon arrival. The hostess advised that we can choose whichever table we prefer. The way they have it set up is that they have tables under a gazebo, which are perfect for a rainy day, and then picnic tables scattered throughout their huge property, as well as Adirondack chairs overlooking the vineyards.
We sat at the picnic tables and our waitress promptly came with a carafe of water and asked us if we had any questions. She was very knowledgeable and answered our questions, and we decided to go for a bottle of their Riesling (highly recommend), and we ordered a Parma pizza which was equally delicious. Again - I must say: our waitress really did take the time too answer our questions and she was very friendly.
We enjoyed both our wine and our meal. The property also had chickens and goats which were too cute not to take a photo of.
They are pet friendly if this is something you're interested in.
Highly recommend
My favourite winery! Such an amazing experience. Incredible food, incredible wine, and beautiful spot. Service was perfect. We were waited on right away and the waitress made sure we were comfortable and enjoying our food and drinks. Best pizza and wine in Windsor-Essex 100% Cannot recommend this place enough!
First time going to this Vineyard but enjoyed it. We didn't make a reservation but we're very lucky to get a seat in the sun on a cool day. I recommend you make reservations before going.
We arrived just after 14:00 and it was already starting to get busy. Our waitress, who part of the family that owns the vineyard was really nice and helpful. She got out orders in quickly and gave us some great recommendations.
The place got busy really fast and the were not staffed for it but they really pitched in for each other and took care of things.
The menu is fire cooked pizza and wine. The pizza was good, I could have used more sauce but tasty none the less.
Dessert is limited to a Nutella pizza, which we did not order. I would be nice to.see more dessert options in future and even though it is a vineyard beer would be a great addition. Unfortunately I am allergic to sulfates so I am limited in the wine I can have.
I think that if they added some bottled or canned beer it would be a great addition to the menu, along with an additional dessert.
A great place to go on a beautiful day with friends.
Give it a try but remember to make reservations!
Nearing the end of the season, but we still enjoyed a delicious stone oven cooked "Seasonal" white pizza with mozzarella, sweet corn, yellow potato, marinated in olive oil, pepper, garlic and rosemary. Wow, words can't describe how delicious it is. You have to go and try it along with all the wonderful wines they have.
