it's a nice place for a short stroll with a dog near the lake, but due to a current reconstruction the big part of the park is out of limits for public use
A great place to go for a walk. Sit and drink a coffee while you look out over lake. Erie.
A beautiful feature in Kingsville. Lakeside Park has a nice walking path, big old trees, a playground, a beach, a little creek that's always full of ducks and a nice little gazebo for watching the waves of lake Erie. It's a great spot for family outings and first dates.
The park itself is great with a nice playground for kids and lots of mature trees. I little bit of construction going on in half the lower portion of the park right now, but it didnt affect access at all. A walk along the water is nice, but dont expect to use the beach here, it's a little gross and has signs against swimming.
We really liked it there, it's fun to have lunch outside on the picnic tables. There's a nice pavilion, there's a little bit of construction going on there so it's a little loud right now. Plenty of places to park. Washrooms are open. That makes for a more relaxing atmosphere. The one thing that is bothering me about this moment with this pandemic is there are no bathrooms available anywhere. Which does not make any sense to me whatsoever. The park is pretty big oh, so there's no chance of bumping into anyone. You can keep your social distance. Lots of shady areas, to relieve the heat of the Sun. And as well lots of Sunny areas to get your vitamin D. When you walk down towards the water, there is a slight incline that you have to be careful of. The small Beach area that is there is clean and a nice spot to sit and get some ozone. It will be nice to see the park finished with all the construction. Not sure exactly what is going on there, but there are pipes and I'm assuming some type of drainage that is going in. Either way it is non-disruptive to the rest of the area there, and we like to have lunch there. Great restaurants around Kingsville for sure
