Float Lakeshore

I like to try new and different things. This was definitely a new experience. I decided to do some research before I went so I new what to expect. The salt water is inside a pod. Not a hot tub or pool. You don't want to get any in your eyes or mouth believe me. You remove your clothing, get inside. I recommend a hair cap. The water is warm and I would have liked it a few degrees warmer. For one hour your float inside and reap the benefits. Give it a try.

I visited Float a few weeks ago. I was not sure what to expect, but a coupon had my husband and I there for a try.
First impressions: There is lots of free parking, and it is easily accessed. It seems pretty clean, and the gal there was friendly and gave good instructions. After a quick shower, you are good to go.
It was very strange for me. I am not used to sensory deprivation. Once or twice I did start to get claustrophobic, but managed to calm down.
That being said, you just need to let go and let yourself float. It is kind of a reset button in a way. I don't know how to explain it other than that.
Pro tip: NEVER open your mouth once you've been in there a while. You get a nasty taste that lingers a long time.

This truly was an amazing experience the staff is very very friendly and helpful for first timers the website is super easy to use for scheduling. I would highly recommend float Lakeshore and we'll definitely be returning for future floats

The staff has always been friendly. The facility is very clean and well maintained. The atmosphere is very relaxing. I love the experience of doing a float but wish they were slightly shorter for myself. I find after 30-45 minutes I'm just getting antsy and can't relax, however I'm not giving it less stars for this because this is clearly just myself. The float itself is very nice and relaxing and I always feel great after them.

I went for the float tank. The place was very clean and nicely decorated. Very nice receptionist. The price for the float was a little pricey at around 74 for an hour. You get a little discount if you get a special they have but you can only buy it 1 time.
