Briefly stopped here on our way to Point Pelee. Good placeto capture bird pictures. If you are in the area it is worth visiting for a walk with the family and enjoy the evening
Nice trails for a relaxing stroll. Great for bird watching. Lots of birds found here. Saw many types of herons.
Beautiful views and millions of visible stats.
High water levels are making the existence of this place potentially time sensitive. One portion of the marsh is already open to Lake Erie. That said, outside of Point Pelee this is your next best stop for birding. Full trail runs about 5k and depending on season you can expect to see a wide variety of bird species and other wildlife. Bring a canoe or kayak if so inclined there's a boat launch and plenty of water to paddle.
Nice place to walk. Flat ground grass type terrain. The whole trail is about 8km I think. The environment is ever changing its nice to see it in different seasons. Lots of muskrats can be seen here
