Great food. Excellent falafel. Owner friendly and accommodating to my gluten free request. Lovely back patio. My husband had fish and chips and was very happy with his food as well.
Great food. Always great to stop in so friendly and welcoming. Never disappointed by the food. Great dessert. Baby pickerel my favorite.
Really old restaurant; very close to Peele National park. Food was okay, great place for ice creams & shakes.
First off, this place has this amazing deck/patio, which you cannot see from the road. Because the Restaurant sits on a bit of a ridge, you get this spectacular view of the fields below, while being in the treetops. One of the trees is a mulberry tree, and the trees are filled with many species of birds. Kind of a poor man's Rainforest Cafe. The deck would be reason enough to eat here all by itself, but the food was really good. We had ice cream here several times, but decided to try dinner here, after going to another place that had a 45 minute wait (Paula's is also closed until 2021). We had thought of it as more of an ice-cream parlour, but boy, were we wrong. We had Yellow Perch and Smelt. Both were done with a very light batter. Nicely spiced, and not overpowering. Both the Perch and the Smelt were very fresh. The fries were freshly cut and crisp, not soggy. The coleslaw was a light creamy coleslaw. The Tartar sauce was really good, although I would have liked just a bit more, but not a deal-breaker by any stretch. Very enjoyable meal, with a unique and beautiful view. This place was a real pleasant surprise, just outside the gate of Point Pelee. We will definitely return.
