Chartwell Oak Park LaSalle Retirement Residence

My mom was fortunate to live independently for 93 years. She had always said that when it was time to move, Oak Park LaSalle was her number one choice. A resident now for 14 months, it was absolutely the right choice at the right time. Her suite is spacious and comfortable, the food is nutritious and tasty, and the staff are friendly and kind. Pre-COVID I spent a lot of time at Oak Park & came to know and appreciate the exceptional management team and staff. In unprecedented times, they worked incredibly hard to protect residents. My mom routinely reassures family that "everything Is fine," "they take really good care of us," and "I'm in the best place I could be." Thank you Oak Park LaSalle for providing families with peace of mind.

My aunt and uncle are very comfortable and happy at Oak Park, are always complimentary about the tasty, more than ample meals and the kind staff, always willing to assist them. They have no regrets about their choice of Oak Park LaSalle and we see that they well taken care of. Receiving regular update emails gives us comfort about their care.

My mother has been a resident at Oak Park Lasalle for approximately two and a half years. After an adjustment period for both her and myself ...my mother has settled in comfortably. My mother consistently says” they are nice here... I can’t complain”.. which gives me peace of mind.

Oak Park Lasalle is a one floor building which is a secure environment and eliminates any confusion as far as orientation. The suites are spacious and homey. Excellent housekeeping and laundry services are provided along with dining room facilities that provide three healthy meals per day. Many of the staff are dedicated, friendly and willing to help.

(Pre Covid) - There are a variety of outings and activities... example - singers, musicians, chapel, outside vendors ...that keep the residents engaged and involved. Thanks to all the managers...James, Katie, Sylvia, Melissa, Adam and Jayme ...who always quickly address my concerns ...and all Oak Park staff for a job well done.

I was at Chartwell LaSalle 3 times. First as a realtor with my clients’ interests in mind, later I joined In with the euchre tournament and, lastly, with one of my elder clients. Each time, I was amazed at the friendliness of the staff and the overall homey feeling there was! Sylvia Flanagan took us on a tour of the residence and we found her to be very kind and friendly. She had the time and patience to answer any and all of my client’s questions and made him feel right at home. She was highly instrumental in easing his fear of moving into a seniors home. We were both impressed with her. I would highly recommend Chartwell LaSalle to any of my family, friends and clients!

We hosted a financial course at Chartwell and the staff and management were so supportive. We used the theatre room every Sat for 10 weeks and the staff was very kind and helpful. They brought snacks from the kitchen staff every night. The residents were very polite and seemed quite happy to be living at this home. Wonderful place for anyone considering to stay here or have family that are getting older. Excellent staff. Clean building. Thanks for the great experience Chartwell LaSalle.
