Brian was of immense help in getting our life insurance situation fixed. He is personable and know his stuff! We highly recommend him.
Today I'm here to talk about a man named Brian Price.
He's my Life Insurance Agent.
I'met Brian a couple years ago when I felt all was lost.
Brian helped me overcome the impossible and at the same time he personally restored my faith in The life insurance industry.
But before I jump too far ahead of myself I'm going to start from the beginning, here's how my story goes.
Back in 2014 I was doing some personal work during the summertime and I went to the hospital because it was hot as hell, mind you I am a chunky monkey, and I'm sweating a lot and typing 14-16 hrs a day for a few weeks straight seven days a week.
That day I went to the hospital, my ribs were hurting my elbows were hurting my shoulders were hurting, which means "overuse". For females those are the signs of a heart attack.
Also, I have pre-existing medical problems with my back in the L5 region, "so" when I went to the hospital because I was in a lot of "pain"
The student doctor immediately I assumed I had congestive heart failure.
They took a little bit of blood work and then they gave me Percocet because I was having pain.
The Percocet elevated my troponin level which I learned later is how medical professionals come to determine if a person is having a heart attack because the troponin level will elevate!
Percocet was something that I was taking on a regular basis for my back, and my feet.
After discussing my medical history with this young medical student doctor, and a medical history of my mother which happens to be my mother died of a diabetic heart attack. And my father had a couple heart attacks. And the fact that I was a 34 year smoker,
Ultimately because of everything within the textbook, students learn, it's easy for the medical student to jump to the conclusion that I had congestive heart failure without affirmative and conclusive medical probing and testing prior to basing that decision on congestive heart failure.
So what we have is a diagnosis before the testing. Which sticks to the patient's record till hell freezes over.
Because of the younger students opinion, without conclusive testing, I was immediately booked into the hospital to have a stunt put into my heart the very next day.
"Now I'm not criticizing the young student doctor don't get me wrong."
"I'm glad to see that she over reacted instead of taking a passive position" .
I'm glad I'm OK in the physical sense, but what this has done is caused me greater problems there are aspects of my life, than one would never stop to realize as being possible, such as now having difficulty in obtaining life insurance policy's. Even though I have no medical problems with my heart.
And to confirm, shortly after I had one of southwestern Ontario's most highly skilled and seasons cardiologist working on me to put a stent in my heart and to only discover at that time I had absolutely no blockage and no heart problems as a 42-year-old woman.
You see after that scare the first thing I did was contact a company called to get life insurance because the first thing I was thinking of is wow what about next time? What is next times for real think God nothing is happening now and thank God I'm OK but what about my son? So because I was feeling down in the dumps about what happened I signed up for a policy and it wasn't with Brian at first because I didn't know Brian at that moment in time.
Now this is where the hell begins. "The company XYZ "rejected me based upon congestive heart failure because now on record it looks like I had a heart attack when "I did not".
That's when I reapplied again to another company and begin my life with Brian by bumping into him by accident.
What this means is I would be very difficult to be placed with any market with something like that. Brian told me have faith he found me a company that would place me even after being rejected, and he educated me on The existence of the MIB. Without Brian, I would have no insurance today!
Very professional and no pressure to sell. He knows his stuff and will give you the detailed information and more. Professionalism and very honest. too
Brian listened to our unique needs, did the research based on our needs (not his cadre of products), and brought forward an excellent life insurance plan that both protected us with peace of mind and gave us substantial monthly savings. Excellent, respectful, thorough service!
Very knowledgeable and a pleasure to deal with.
