Chartwell Oak Park Terrace Retirement Residence

My dad had been a resident at Chartwell Oak Park Terrace on North Service Rd, for over a year. He’s quite elderly and I was concerned with the type of care he would receive. I am so pleased the way they have cared for him, which is a peace of mind for the family. The home is very very clean.
The entire staff is kind, loving and very compassionate, they treat the residents like family. It’s a very happy and welcoming home, they work as a team.
His granddaughters keep telling my dad that he’s at a spa not a retirement home.

This is a well run retirement home where residents are cared for in a safe, friendly and compassionate way. Staff are exceptional and work well as a team. They are readily accessible and quick to respond in a competent, kind and caring way. In many instances they go above and beyond. The social and enrichment programs are varied and excellent. Communication with families is frequent with input and feedback encouraged.

My mother has been at Oak Park Terrace on E.C. Row for almost 11 years. She has received great care and has experienced the peace that our family hoped for when she moved here. Thanks to all the management, nurses and all staff for your care. It is great to know you.

I have visited Oak Park Terrace on many occasions, over the past several years, as part of an entertainment group which provides musical performances for the residents at this facility. I have always been impressed by the cleanliness of the facility and with the care the staff provides to the residents. A courteous and friendly atmosphere exists among the folks who live there. That feeling of acceptance comes from the way the people who reside there are treated by the staff in this home.
There is an obvious sense of good will and trust among residents and staff.
Our group has been fortunate enough to be part of the family Christmas entertainment gala that takes place each year. The food provided is plentiful, beyond delicious and presented beautifully in a easy to access display. I have jokingly said to the staff on more than one occasion, "Save me a spot!".

We absolutely love Chartwell Oak Park. Everyone one of the staff members are polite, caring and considerate. There are a variety of activities for all different types of interests and are open to any new ideas people may have. It is a nice place to be, always clean and bright. There are many areas to be with your loved one. But the BEST thing about Oak Park is the staff members who make every feel welcome, happy and a park of the group. We feel confident in recomending Oak Park to anyone interested in finding a new home for their loved one.
