Dr. M. Azam Khan, M D

Dr. Khan is very supportive and listens to his patients. I have been his patient since 2017. He has treated me for PTSD and other related diagnoses. He has not only been emotionally supportive, but is very helpful when I need letters and forms filled out for my family law case and ODSP. He has a friendly yet professional manner, which is very helpful to someone who has severe anxiety and difficulty being around people. Although he does prescribe medications, he is also very encouraging and supportive of other things I try to do, which can help mental health (exercise, prayer/meditation, etc). He provides good feedback and direction on what I should focus on when I am in crisis and overwhelmed.

I came to Dr. Mohammad Azam Khan when I was desperate for help, as my condition has deteriorated to a point I could not function in the society and at work. Dr. Khan evaluated my condition with great attention to the underlying causes. I felt listened to and respected from the first session. I was also made aware of the resources available for me outside of the prescribed medicine and how to deal with my condition on a daily basis. Dr. Khan is very diligent with appointments and follow up. I went to Dr. Khan on a recommendation from a friend and I was very satisfied with my decision. I wanted to write this review to share my experience and to recommend this doctor to anyone who needs a great psychiatrist. You will always be in good hands.

Dr. Khan took me on for PPD when no psychiatrist was accepting patients. I'm grateful that Dr. Khan helped me, he listened to my concerns when coming up with a treatment plan for me. I always felt heard and never dismissed. He also did not rush my recovery. His receptionist is great as well. She definitely showed compassion and understanding, as well as going beyond to help me resolve a sudden unexpected problem. I would recommend Dr. Khan (remember to stay open and honest so that the best treatment plan can be tailored to your individual needs).

I have been coming to Dr.khan since I was in high school. Dr.Khan has always been so kind to all his patients and also he gives really good advice. I was provided great services with Dr.Khan. When I had anxiety he give me tips and tricks to overcome it which really helped me a lot. All the staff is very kind and respectful. I am very thankful to have such a great doctor like Dr.Khan. I highly recommend this doctor because he is very respectful towards his patients and staff.

My name is Dave Nantais and I have been under the care of Dr Kahn since 2017. On initial meetings I was seeing him once every 2 weeks or so, until recently where I am seeing him now once a month. Right from the onset he made me feel extremely comfortable and relaxed and able to open up to him. He has always spoken to me in a very calming and soothing voice making me feel at ease. Over the years we kept tweaking my medications to the point where I am now able to have some stability. I have severe depression and anxiety issues and they are now controlled to a point to where it is manageable. I am now at a point of being able to interact with others and not being so withdrawn. He has become an extremely important part of my life (sounding board). He is so easy to talk to and reassuring that I look forward to our talks and visits. I have come a long way these past five years and I still have a ways to go but I do know that I could not have gotten this far without his help and supervision. I beleive he would be a key asset to helping others as he has helped me.

I’ve been seeing Dr.Khan since I was 19 I’m 22 now, he took me on as a patient when I was in psych at the hospital after a very rough patch in my life. He has always treated me with respect and kindness. He listens to what I have to say about how I’m feeling takes my symptoms into consideration and then doesn’t just dope me up but offers solutions and then medication when it’s needed. He has tremendously helped with my mental health disabilities and to anyone saying he’s a drill Sargent maybe if you came in with respect you would get it back. He has always been on time with my medication my pharmacist has never had a problem. I highly rate this doctor because I always look forward to my appointments and I’ve never had a single problem with them in the 2 almost 3 years I’ve been seeing him.

I love coming here because of the hospitality and service. Dr. M. Khan is never in a rush or is in any hurry to make appointments fast. The receptionist is very well kind and mannered. The place have lots of parking and is easy to get around. Very clean here too.
