Great place for a stroll.
Nice place, both tame and wild trails
Nice family location well populated area.
The gravel road is well maintained. The scenic view is quite scenic.
There are little side trails you can take if you'd like to enjoy the scenic view in more detail. On one side, your right side walking towards the University, the scenic scene gives way to a lake with a beach and if timed right you can even throw a sunset in there. Oddly great for dates.
On your left side of the trail, you will find what would seem to be an endless forestry of Boreal type trees. If you take a trail into the scene of coniferous and spruce trees, some odd maples and chestnuts here and there, you will hit the ski trails, or, get lost in a very real endless forestry of wild nature in it's works. I knew a lady that would go pick edible mushrooms on that trail but I would disadvise any non mycete saves to do this. Or really anyone, leave the mushrooms alone and don't forget! This is a conservation area.
A nice place for a walk that connects Lo-Ellen to the university. Nice overview of Laurentian Beach and sunsets.
