“Father Peter welcomed us to his lovely property. He drove us to our spot, provided an extra extension cord so we could hook up, COOKED for all the travelers, pointed us to blueberries to pick, told us to pick through the garden; you name it : ) He's built two bunkhouses. There's a cookhouse and a small chapel. There's a lake and a beach volleyball area. He even offered us his boat! Now it can only handle a few trailers but there's lots of room to tent. There only a small wash house and no access to fresh water (though there is UV treated lake water), but what a quiet, personable difference compared to the hundreds-of-spaces campgrounds directly next door.”

“I Stayed at carols camp site last summer and I can’t express enough how great the experience I had there. The camp manager was very professional and extremely polite. The office staff was amazing too. They were very informal with every question I had in regards to the camp site. They were welcoming and made my camping experience a good one. The bathrooms were well taken care of and very clean. We were able to get wood when we needed it and didn’t have to struggle to get any.My camping experience was amazing and I can’t wait to go back.”

“Continuous noisy TRAMPOLINES on the sites. kids would play on it even when the owners were not there which was worse unsupervised. sounded like machinery on top of kids screaming all day and evening. too many tall barns set up by seasonal campers which ruin views. my advise to the union would be to ban trampolines and to strategically place the barns so that they are not ruining the views for others. other than that, beautiful lake, great staff and friendly campers”

“the conservation area is beautiful and has wonderful hiking trails. an excellent example of the canadian shield. the only reason i gave them 4 stars is because they used pressure treated lumber for their boardwalks on the shore line (in contact with the water, beavers and other wildlife). this choice of material contradicts their ethos of conservation.”

“Gifted. This surgeon took his time to explain and answer any questions I had before removing my 7 cm brain tumor. Works with his heart. You can tell he wants to do a great job. I was back to work within 3 months . It has now been 6 months since my surgery and all is well. No issues, no medication and not one headache. I am truly blessed!”
