Very clean and comfortable. Extremely gracious and warm host. 2 minutes walk from gorgeous Eugenia Falls. Tons of attractions and great local restaurants just a short drive away.
I did a thru-hike of the Bruce Trail and had a wonderful and comfortable stay here. Host is wonderful and kind, prepared me an amazing breakfast, and gave me my own space. Plus it's right off of the Bruce Trail!
A highly recommended spot
The lasy was attending a wedding but called and gave us so we could get in. The grounds are superb. The accomodation fresh and clean and cozy. Lots of supplies for use and bathrooms immaculate. The breakfast was superb. The lady was so warm and lovely and we met some excellent fellow guests!
Beautiful private rooms. Shared kitchen area. Just steps off the Bruce Trail. Perfect place for hikers as there is a resupply store right across the street too. I got a good night sleep, made dinner on their BBQ, met another very nice couple and got everything I needed to keep hiking the Bruce Trail. Owners are very accommodating to hikers! Would love to stay again.
I planned a one-week writing retreat at this B&B, and it was a wonderful experience. The accommodation is lovely, and the hosts are extremely friendly and hospitable. The three bedrooms share a generous and comfortably furnished common area with TV and VCR. The kitchen is more than ample for simple meals, with a full-sized fridge/freezer, plus microwave, 2-burner hot plate and slow cooker. There are 2 small grocery stores in Eugenia, both an easy walk away, as well as a restaurant and a diner (open weekends). Each room has its own private entrance to the guests' patio. The bedroom was very comfortable; I was in the north room with large windows on 2 sides and a lovely king-sized bed. The shared bathroom was small but well-designed. The house is just steps from the conservation area and the falls, which plunge into a forested gorge. I cleared my head with walks on the Bruce Trail, and up to Lake Eugenia. I understand there's plenty to do in the area, though that's not why I was there! It was a perfect week -- highly recommended.
