I highly recommend the work of Amber Harwood at Georgian Bay Art Conservation. She recently restored my old lithograph of a hunting scene by local artist Fred Haines. It had suffered badly from acidic discolouration. Her success at neutralizing the staining, replacing the mat to its original design and rejuvenating the gilded frame was remarkable. I am very pleased!

I had an 159 year old oil painting that was covered in a thick, yellowed varnish and years of cigarette smoke. Amber and her staff brought the painting and the frame back to life. Now I can see the colours as the artist intended. They did an amazing job and were so professional. I would highly recommend their services to anyone who wants a treasured piece restored!

The conservator did a amazing job restoring a damaged heirloom photo of my husbands grandfather. The photo was digitally restored and customed framed, making it a modern looking masterpeice with real history in our home. The original photo was stored in archival appropriate packaging to stop further deterioration. Every attention to detail was taken. We love it!
