My husband & I enjoyed a lovely weekend visiting my mother who now resides at Kelso.
She jokingly calls it 'the villanous villa', but it is exactly the opposite, the loving, upbeat, well-appointed residence for many dear senior citizens who need assistance with the tasks of daily living.
The spirit of hospitality & good cheer is evident the minute one walks in the door of the big foyer.
We saw our mother being attended to at meals, at getting up time, at finding places that she had "forgotten", by a large group of well-trained, kind & cheerful people who know all the residents by name.
I am very grateful to have found a place like Kelso for my mother to call "home" in these last few years. I can only wish Betty Hamilton & her colleagues & the residents & their relatives every continued blessing. Elizabeth & John Sherk, Toronto
