The Caledonia Business Improvement Area

The BIA (Kathy Marshall and all of the volunteers) is simply nothing other than an extreme asset to the Caledonia community. In addition to benefiting my own business, the numerous promotions, contests and events have made me aware of businesses within the Caledonia catchment I was unfamiliar with, or services I didn’t know were available close to home. Also, my kids love attending movie nights, light up night or seeing the pumpkins on parade after Halloween! Kathy is always friendly and approachable, and in my opinion, goes way above and beyond for any business or person in order to make this community a great one!

As a business owner in Caledonia, the Caledonia BIA has provided us with countless networking and co-operative advertising opportunities. I feel the BIA’s Beautification and Marketing initiatives promote our town and businesses in such a positive way. Thank You!

From the moment we decided to set up our Retail Store (Bella & Coop) in Caledonia, the local BIA (Kathy Marshall) was nothing short of amazing in their support for our business. From answering our questions to providing suggestions and ideas, they supported us during our start up phase and that same support has been ongoing. From keeping local businesses informed of town happenings, to creating events to foster a sense of community and business prosperity, they do so much to keep us connected to the town. Kathy is a tireless worker, who alongside her volunteers, delivers a great service that is very appreciated!

The Caledonia BIA does an incredible job of promoting and highlighting local businesses. It's involvement in Light Up Night exemplifies the bringing together of the community and the business community. It is an annual event that essentially kicks off the holiday season and, is an event that the whole town looks forward to. Then there are the summer outdoor movie nights that are enjoyed by the community. That is only 2 of so many events that are run by or are participated in by the Caledonia BIA. The BIA is also responsible for creating great contests and promotions that benefit our local businesses. Our community and our local businesses greatly benefit from the immense efforts of the mostly volunteer Caledonia BIA. The Caledonia BIA has really done a great job of bringing awareness to the businesses in Caledonia. When we have reached out, they have been so helpful in promoting our business in whatever way they can. They have a ton of promotions that businesses in Caledonia can participate in, we have done many of them and have been impressed.
