I'd like to start this review by saying that nothing I say here, will truly justify the experience I had with the lovely couple behind TNT. Regardless, I will do my best to capture some of the highlights of my experience, and hopefully make the decision making for others a little easier. Keep in mind that I ride a motorcycle that I've owned for 17 years and one that has traveled across continents with me. It has seen years and years of extreme weather and unfortunately hasn't always had regular hands on care. And oh - its mostly all chrome!
On a gut feel - I decided to award the rejuvenation project to TNT. Here is what I found.
1. The customer service and communication with TNT was absolutely stellar. THIS is why I support family owned businesses. I felt there to be a genuine understanding and care for my prized possession from them both, right from the get go. I was comforted, understood and explained everything I inquired about - and believe me, I did a lot of inquiring!
2. Flexibility: I made changes to the drop off location - and also requested the bike to be picked up from a location which was quite a bit of a drive for TNT. However, they were very accommodating and ensured I was assisted and comforted there.
3. Pricing: I shopped around. Hey, that's what the internet is for, right?! I was charged a very competitive amount and not rushed to pay. Once I saw the work they had done, I realised that I would have happily paid more! #true_story
4. The work: Frankly, I was shocked. Very very pleasantly! It took me a while to take it all in - I genuinely felt like I did the moment the bike was first delivered to me 17 years ago. No joke. It was clear that an extreme amount of not only elbow grease, but TLC was put in to this project. Every possible detail that could have been detailed, was detailed in detail! See what I did there?
And to top it all off, after blowing my socks off, the lovely couple behind TNT remained extremely humble and genuine through out the process with me. That further fueled my desire to want to genuinely showcase the service I had received from them and I hope that in doing so, others will spend less time researching and more time sending their bikes over to TNT.
