Been there just a few hours ago. Best place ever.
Great fun, happy times. Went there back in 1975 to 1977 the best 3 years camping in a tent on an island or just down from the Hub.
If you're involved in scouting, then you MUST go here at least once. Beautiful lakes in the Haliburton Highlands. Unbelievably huge area to explore and hike. Scouts learn to cook and clean for themselves they canoe, paddle, swim, sail, as well as archery, riflery, and ropes course. Tuck shop has snacks and junk food as well add some camp supplies and camp shirts and hats and other swag.
Anyone who goes here will surely have a good time.
Just finished a great week at Haliburton Scout Reserve with good weather. Our Scouts had a fantastic time doing all of the activities. The camp councilors were awesome. Even had a fun campfire without an actual fire due to the fire ban.
Pretty great camp. Had a ton of fun there, apart from being eaten alive by bugs. Might be hard for someone who hasn't camped very often but a pretty good camp overall. Love the canoeing
