I went to Shawn for the first time a week ago after being recommended. I was very nervous because I can be quite picky with my hair. I came to him with left over blue manic panic hair that had been previously bleached for “mermaid hair.” I was tired of this look and just wanted a regular balayage. The manic panic and previous bleaching made my hair greasy and unhealthy. Shawn used a natural hair stripping to take the colour out of my hair and then he added the highlights I wanted! He could have stripped more, but didn’t want to kill my hair, which I appreciated. He is very knowledgeable, professional, and a complete natural when it comes to hair. Within minutes he made me feel comfortable and I walked out of the salon LOVING my colour and cut! He gave me EXACTLY what I asked for. As the days have gone by, I am even happier with my hair, it is transitioning just as he said it would! I have also had tons of compliments! His pricing is fair and he is definitely worth the wait! I feel so lucky to have found such a talented stylist in such a small town close to home!

I had my hair cut by Shawn yesterday for the first time. What a great experience. I have very curly hair and he made me love it for the first time in my life. He also provided many useful tips on the care and styling of curly hair that no one has ever told me; and I’ve been to a number of stylists throughout my life. It was a fun and enjoyable experience!! We had Shawn and his talented team come do 10 ladies' hair and makeup for our cottage wedding July 2017. They did such a phenomenal job and we were so happy! They made the morning fun, relaxing, and stress-free and everyone was really happy with their hair and makeup. Thank you guys!
