  There are several pool supply options in the Oakville/Burlington area but recently Pioneer Pools in Burlington has become our go-to destination. They have a great selection of supplies and patio decor/furniture in a well designed store, but it was their attention to detail on a recent custom order that prompted me to write this review. They have great attention to detail and are very responsive.

  My wife and I just recently purchased a hot tub. As part of our search, we had been to several spa outlets in the Burlington and Oakville areas. Pioneer Pools in Burlington ended up being our last stop. Over the years, I had been to the store on Fairview Street numerous times for pool water testing and supplies. I always found the staff there to be quite helpful and courteous. Brett O’Neill was the sales associate we dealt with during our hot tub purchase. He was great to deal with. Brett’s knowledge and no pressure attitude made a big impact on our decision process. He was very patient with us that day, explaining the different types of sanitizing systems and spa makes/models. I think we spent about 2 hours with him. Over the next 2 weeks he answered my numerous questions, making sure I was satisfied with the answers. When Brett was not available, Bill Hindle was able to answer our questions. We finally decided on the Caldera Geneva model. The delivery/install by Jay and Mark was quick and easy. They were both professional and courteous. They made sure I was happy with the install before they left. We had a minor issue with the light for the logo and Brett acted on it right away. The service department called that day to arrange a tech come out to fix it. From start to finish, the overall experience dealing with Pioneer Family Pools was very positive.   It’s been just over a year now since our hot tub was installed. We couldn’t be happier about our purchase. The “lounger” with the foot massage is my favorite position. My wife’s favorite is the “captain chair” with the palm massage. Doesn’t that just work out! I’m in the hot tub at least 5 times a week. We have had absolutely no issues with the hot tub. As for Pioneer Pools Burlington, they continue to be very helpful. Being a first time owner of a hot tub, I have had many questions over the year regarding proper water quality control. They have always took the time to answer my questions. I run into Brett from time to time and he is always asking how things are going. I go into the store at least once a month to get the water tested (at no charge I might add). Everyone always goes out of their way to be helpful and courteous. They have competitive prices regarding the chemicals. Even with the online stores. Overall we are very happy with our purchase and the after sales service from Pioneer Pools Burlington.

  Brett was thorough and detailed as we discussed which model of hot tub would best suit our preferences. Through the process, he kept good lines of communication open and I was completely satisfied with the outcome. Installation by Jay and Mark went smoothly, and they did a great overview with us before they left. Pioneer Pools directed us to Calibre Electricians who did the electrical installation and were, likewise, excellent.
  
  So far I am very impressed - they clearly want to make a good first impression, and leave customers satisfied.
  
  Bill helped with an overview of the chemical starter kit, and the staff at the water testing station were quick and courteous. I'll post again if anything changes, but this was a great purchased experience.

  My pool was built by pioneer pools almost 7 years ago. It’s a perfect shape and size for our backyard. We live in the orchard in Burlington with a smaller backyard that is common nowadays. After consultation and design with Cam at pioneer pools, we were happy with what he recommended both in size, shape and depth, it fits our yard perfectly. Their experience is second to none. Instillation was done on time and professionally. Over the years when I have questions or concerns with my pool, both in store or on the phone I’ve always received knowledgeable and professional service at all levels. Truely a top of class company.

  After many hours of researching hot tubs and pricing it was very refreshing to meet Brett at Pioneer. His Knowledge along with his no pressure sales and calm personality instantly made me want to purchase this product. Clearly the reputation of the caldera spa helped Brett but truly his knowledge did it for me. I returned with my family later that day and we now have been enjoying our tub for a couple of weeks. The after sales experience was also seamless as I had some issue with my own electrician that Pioneer was able to resolve with ease and in a timely manner. Thanks again to everyone at Pioneer.... especially Brett!!
