Very nice supermarket. Excellent selection, especially of health foods compared to many others in Hamilton. Extremely well staffed and organized. A bit expensive and a bit out of the way, but that's the price you pay for a Metro. Generally I prefer more local stores, but Metro is the kind of place that makes you feel good about spending money there.

Metro makes the best cakes! Our go to for all our birthday cakes. The bakery has a variety of other amazing treats too. Super fresh produce but a bit pricier than other grocery stores nearby. Usually not too crowded which is a nice plus.

Good staff, good selection. I forgot my debit card at home and only realized when checking out. They kept my shopping with them so I wouldn't have to pick it out again. Thank you!
