Such a beautiful place with a lovely beach! Super relaxing and family oriented. The water is great. Washrooms are clean. Lots of available parking. We've been here at least 7-8 times in one season and we will be back next summer. Entrance price was reasonable - 15$ for the driver/car and 5$ for each passenger.
Beauty conservation park. Some trails flooded out but happily trudged through the water with 4 ladies who were game as well. Checking out run course for a race being held here in a few weeks. Surprisingly they were as well. I will be back to try the bike trails.
This place is so tranquil and even on the Labour Day long weekend it wasn't busy, despite the nice weather. The beach is sand with a few tiny pebbles as is the bottom of the swimming area. Perfect for sand castles and comfortable to walk on. The lake has a long beach, lots of areas for picnics and boat and paddle board launch points, along with an area for pets to swim. We simply love it here and highly recommend the Hamilton Conservation Annual pass as you can fly right into the park by scanning your card in a separate line up.
The water was a little dark today, I'm sure it's do to all the rain. The park is spacious, lots of parking a boarding water class runs from here.there is also Frisbee golf which many people play.
The washrooms are well maintained until later in day ,perhaps staff have gone home.
Not bad place if your looking to relax, not many fish were biting, a few very small carp and cat fish. If your looking for a little getaway from the city inside the city this is a neat place. Signs also really help while you're driving in the park, neat and up kept👍
