The LOST Organization

Im deeply hurt and sad by this no longer running. It makes me feel deeply troubled by it all. I depended on this resource to help me and thought I could depend on it but clearly I was wrong. Nobody seems to get it that this was my safe place and a place where I could vent and meet new people.

A wonderful painting night with some really kind and welcoming people at lost. We listened and learned, hung out, laughed, and painted in an easy-going, open space. It was fun and relaxing- I highly recommend it. Knowing all the proceeds went to help this great drop-in centre continue to offer free mental health support programs made it all even better! A hidden local gem!

LOST is a great place with an inviting vibe and atmosphere. It's a perfect example of the power of grassroots peer support. There's a nice blend of structure and casual flexibility. I enjoyed the daily support group when I was able to go regularly. I've also done workshops and the Paint Night and that was fun too. I was able to volunteer a few times and that was a nice experience. We are lucky to have the LOST team in Hamilton!

Welcoming. Peaceful. Friendly. Easy to find. Parking available. Warm staff. A little cool inside (winter). I felt accepted immediately and would recommend visiting The Lost Organization to anyone struggling with mental health issues. Eye opening experience!
