I spoke with Sandro over the phone and he helped me design a trailer that was specific to my purposes. I could not get much response from other manufacturers probably due to covid and being busy. You can clearly see Sandro is making high quality frames and trailers. Steel prices have gone way up but he was still competitive on pricing. For a similar sized trailer, but his will carry 2x+ the weight which is what I needed.
Looking forward to the outcome of the trailer.
Edit: so I picked up my trailer last week from Sandro. Overall very happy with the outcome of the trailer. It’s built very well. The LED lights are nice and the wiring is very crisp. Like I said before he added a lot of options for me so that was much appreciated. The design and engineering of the trailer seem very good to me. The paint in general seems good and it’s a nice colour but there was a couple small defects on the paint. The D-hooks were painted over so there is a bald spot behind half of them. There was a couple other small bubbles but it’s a trailer that will be banged around a fair bit so I’ll call it a wash. The main thing I disliked about the trailer is that the cross braces are thin c-channel and the lengthwise of the trailer is supported by the sheet metal sides and the planks as opposed to having steel tubing sub frame down the length of the sides of the trailer. I would have paid the difference for a steel tubing frame for sure, however considering what I did pay I do believe it’s certainly suitable and possibly even a smarter and more economic way to build a sturdy trailer. Its certainly lighter. It’s not that I think it can’t hold the weight but I personally would have preferred solid steel tubing for the frame. I will likely end up welding my own additional support to the bottom.
I would definitely buy another trailer from these guys.
Bought a 5x8 Utility trailer from Sandro and I am every happy with it. It's heavy duty, has proper high sides, large wheels, made like a trailer should be made - strong. Sandro customized the colour and added extra tie downs just as I requested. It's a really well executed design that I'm very happy with and I highly recommend Cramero. I have no issues with the powder coating as mentioned by others it is holding up very well.
Sandro and his team did a great job! I’m in the steel business and I can tell a good weld from a bad one and these guys are first class. The options are all worth it. Common sense thinking and years of experience is shown in the functionality of their trailers.. very impressed. 👍
