My Daughter is a student at the Hamilton Suzuki School and LOVES it! She has improved immensely over the past few years with the guidance of her incredible teacher. My daughter has learned a lot from the group classes and enjoys the environment.
Thank you for such a wonderful experience!
My children have been with the Suzuki School of music from the age of 2 Head start introduction to music classes. They both started piano lessons at the age of 3 and my oldest requested guitar lessons two years ago. My boys are now 16 and 13 years of age and have a strong understanding of theory and play beautifully (if I do say so myself). The teachers at the school are not only talented musicians and professional in their approach to teaching, they truly care about the students. I would recommend the school to anyone with children who have expressed an interest in learning to play an instrument. The environment is warm, welcoming and supportive of the potential in each student to learn.
My kids have been going to Suzuki for three years, and I cannot say there is anything I do not like from the school.
On the contrary, we are very happy to have found Suzuki.
My kids have exceeded all expectations, and are now on their way to become very proficient in their instruments.
Our teacher, and all the other teachers that have been involved with my kids are very knowledgeable, patient, and very professional.
As far as I know, it is the best music school in Hamilton.
Starting with my first child in the ECE program (toddler) I had no idea that 12 years later, I would be a 'Suzuki Parent' with two kids doing so well, with two great teachers. I chose to change teachers at one point to find a better fit and had no problem with the transition because my child was able to stay in a familiar routine and environment. I had no idea 12 years ago how the Suzuki method of learning and parent involvement would change my life and I am grateful to have found this school environment. My daughter's piano concerts are reaching a technical level I never expected. The confidence from my son's violin group lessons with so many others at the school just keeps growing. You can't find a group of Suzuki certified teachers anywhere else in this area. Thank you! I am glad to be a part of this community.
Both of my children were part of the Suzuki violin program. They began being taught by Lorraine Dargavel at the age of 3 and continued until they went off to University. It was a very special experience and I highly recommend the school (Denise!) and Lorraine, if you are looking for a way to encourage your children to love music, learn and develop dedication, persistence, fine and gross motor skills, mathematics ability, listening skills, and so much more. The Hamilton Suzuki School is a wonderful place to learn and grow.
