Just heard from a neighbor that this location is under new ownership, and no longer run by the store next door. (Which explains the recent name change)

We ordered the pick-up special for our first time here (figure try something basic to get a feel for the place) which comes with a medium pepperoni, 8 wings and a garlic sauce.

It appears as though they are not using the same recipes as before (Thank God). And the place is clean (interesting concept the last place should have tried).

I know what you're thinking, new restaurant, new recipes and new owner shouldn't have me comparing the 2 places, but I've always been worried about going back there.

The pizza is quite good now, they were a bit lighter on the cheese tonight which worried me, but the pizza sauce made up for that (not usually much for a lot of sauce on pizza, but this sauce was very good).

The wings were good, started with a medium sauce, next time I will get hot (I like a bit of heat, that these were lacking). Even without being spicy at all, the wings still had nice flavor, so I wasn't disappointed.

Even the garlic sauce was nice, I don't always like the garlic sauces at other places, probably one of the better ones I have tried.

I will definitely be back and letting other people in the neighborhood know that this isn't same owners or recipes and to give them the chance they deserve. As people realize this I think they will be much busier in the future.

So this location has changed hands a few times over the last few years and had a reputation for not being clean and poor service. I can tell you that has changed, the place has been renovated and when I walk by the staff are busy cleaning not leaning. I had the pleasant experience of meeting Sam, the owners boy who was helping in the kitchen. I grew up in the kitchen world, and it brought back fond memories to see this young man working hard along his father. So we ordered the wings, ill get the to food in a second. The pizza looks and tastes decent, it seems to be a good balance between value and quality. In the past, the old locations focused more on quantity and value. I want to make it clear that this place seems to be a step up and separated from the ghosts of the past.

So on to the wings. We are currently observing keto and enquired about non breaded. I was impressed that they cook the wings fresh, and coat/bread at time of cooking and not precook like many other locations. It was 50wings for 39.99 with garlic bread and veggies, and were a good size, not small and not oversized and tough. Well sauced and served in a large tin foiled pan that made serving and transportation easy.

Very happy and cant wait what the future will bring! Definitely will go again
