Sana Grill

This has always been my favourite Shawarma since I lived in Hamilton for university. Returned for a bite for the first time in years and it was just as good as I remembered it to be. Their chicken shawarma is my favourite, and their white garlic sauce is unmatched. The family is also wonderful.

Fine option for a quick steak shawarma.

I was here for weekday lunch and the place was pretty deserted. Fortunately for me, that meant faster service. Given that individual portions are reheated by themselves, I didn't have to wait very long.

Of the two items I had, I enjoyed the steak shawarma a bit more than I did the chicken and rice. The vegetables salad accompaniment with the chicken and rice looked slightly wilted but tasted pretty fresh, however the sauce wasn't quite what I was expecting, with a bit of a harsher taste on the first bite. It was by no means unpalatable.

The owner (?) was pretty friendly and the location was clean. Prices were quite fair for portions given. Seating could be improved but this is a solid option.
