Decided to get some wings takeout after hearing grea things about this place. The wings were alright, nothing to rave about. The wings size seemed pretty small. The taste was good. 5 alarm wings is a better option.
I've been hunting down and trying various wing places across Hamilton and I've got to say that Right Wingers has earned its illustrious reputation. I've tried 3lbs of their Serious sauced wings and they're pretty good. They pack a big punch more so than the average wings you'd find at any other pizza place. Also the taste of the meat is pretty good and once you start eating one of the wings, you won't be able to stop yourself.
Now for the cons.
First off, if you live extremely far away from Right Wingers, don't even bother trying to get delivery, it'll take an extremely long amount of time since the driver likely isn't familiar with your area.
The pizza is painfully average and massively overrated; it tastes the exact same as the pizza you can get at Queen's pizza but it's around the same price of ~$11. I wouldn't recommend getting the pizza.
The hours are extremely limited, most of the time they open at around 3:30 in the afternoon, but I guess they're doing well enough due to their rep since they are extremely busy after opening.
I'd say the wings aren't worth travelling across town/from Toronto over as another reviewer has done, but they're good. If you're looking for some of the best wings in town, I'd recommend Right Wingers, Red Rockets or Pizza Hut's. Just avoid Right Wingers' pizza.
There are many great places here in Hamilton for wings but nothing compares to Right Wingers!
Hamilton holds a variety of good places to enjoy cheap wings and a nice pint but if you're looking for quality, the local bar just won't do. These wings are coated with the many select sauces you'd expect to find at a place dedicated to do wings and they're all as savory as you'd imagine.
They're not bite-sized either. These fairly large sized chicken wings will fill you up whether you're there for a small serving of your own or giant meal with a group of friends. You won't be disappointed!
On top of that, their wedges are freshly cut and fried to perfection! Lightly seasoned with just the right amount of crunch, the addition brings together a satisfaction like no other.
It's literally, "wing heaven." That must be how chickens get their wings!
*Insert cricket noise here.
Anyways, don't be fooled by their storefront's appearance because I promise you, you'll be mesmerized by the brilliance that is within the box.
Enjoy!
