Dr. MacDonald was SO wonderful with my cat Lux, who isn’t very friendly at the office. Usually it takes two techs in leather sleeves assisting, for the poor vet to get her shots into her, and Lux (and me) are pretty distraught by the end of it. But not this time! Dr. MacDonald worked skillfully to do what she needed to do, while reading the subtle communications from Lux to avoid her very ferocious attacks. The process was as stress-free for my pet as possible, and we are both very grateful. The doctor, Vet tech and receptionists were all very friendly and helpful.

Fantastic Vetranarians - extremely knowledgeable and caring. They are not in it for the money. Every time they check over your pet, they explain (in detail) the medical diagnosis and instead of ordering every test and wracking up your bill .... Beattie Ancaster's Vets will look for the cheapest options for you. And they don't jeopardize the health of your pet.....they are just totally honest! They don't order/prescribe any tests that are unnecessary for your pet or wallet.

I had a great first experience here when I brought my rabbit for a neuter. Everyone was very nice and friendly. Dr Dev also came and explained the surgery to me very thoroughly. Everyone was helpful and quick to reply to any questions. It was also the best price I could find in Hamilton!

The staff were super professional and friendly.
The vet (Dr. McDonald) was so incredibly nice and very good with my dog who was in need of getting her teeth looked at. She was very thorough and explained everything to me in detail.
She really took the time to get to know my me and my dog (Lily).
The prices are extremely reasonable! I checked out many places and by far they were they cheapest (and also the friendliest!)
The facility was very clean and welcoming (even through Covid-19). Everything was well organized.
Wait time was not long at all and the rooms are very private.
I would recommend Beattie Vet Hospital to my friends and family and to everyone else looking for a nice, safe and affordable place to bring your precious pets!!
